What, What

Thought the rears were corporate Ford and the fronts were built by Dana.

What ratio? My 04 is 3.73 think that's a standard gear with the 6.0.

You should be able to find axle ratio in your owners manual. It's referenced off your VIN# axle code C1 is how mine reads.

"it appears to me that both the f250 and f350 in your year truck are Dana 50s and Sterlings in the rear. And there is a difference between front and rear Dana 60s as the front is a reverse rotation diff. "

I can't believe you've got a 60 front end in a 250. Looks like you got more parts to put in that warm empty building.

There should be a tag on both the front diff. and the rear diff, if no one has thrown them away.

If you can come up with those #'s ,I should be able to tell you what you have. Vin# wouldn't hurt either, all 17 digits.

I work in a Ford parts dept.

Well Timmy,

Sterling rear diff. 3.73 gear - limited slip - 10 1/4" ring gear.

Front diff. from what I can find is a Dana 50 (from 2 of our techs), our parts listing doesn't specify the make just lists the parts by part #.

I'll be glad to dig further if you want, let me know.

TIMMY GOT SOME PARTS FOR SALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you get a winch your garuanteed to never get stuck.

Had an F150 with 33's and open diffs, was a little worried it might not have enough ooomph for skipin across the corn fields to goose hunt. Got a winch, never got stuck- its the old story, if you have it you never need it.
