New Gelcoat and Hardtop
Guys,
I finally got some pictures of the Gelcoat work I did on my bridge, and the new hardtop and enclosure project that stole last summer from me.
Gelcoat, despite a few small burn thru's turned out really well. Some minor touch up's this spring and it is absolutely perfect.
Lot's of sanding, but whorthwhile in the end.
Hard top that was promised for May, didn't get installed until after Labor Day. Enclosure was started in Late September, and was finished 10 days later! Perfect job by Rick Reiss in Point Pleasant.
Got a little busy and never got a chance to get these photos up.

Frank,
thanks,
Which pieces under the brow are you asking about?
The aluminum piece of trim that surrounded the brow was completely removed.
In some positions this required filler. The rivet holes were all filled. In places where there was a gap between the lower and upper bow seem, I filled with resin.
To fill with resisn, I brought the parts together as best I could with clamps or screws. Covered the the lower edge of the seem with wax paper, then drilled holes above where I wanted the resin to fill. I used a syringe to pump the resin in. Gravity let it flow down to the wax paper.
