Easy trip-takes me about 4 hrs when De Bay is smooth.
I grew up to be the person my parent's warned me about.

Just fuel up before you leave. Not alot of on-the-way places to fuel except for the C&D, and last time we fueled there it was about $1 gallon more than where we fueled up at OC. Watch your charts when you exit the C&D--there are some jettys and bars there. Like Doug said, nice easy trip if Del. Bay cooperates.

ditto what Doug & John said, watch the weather and the tides and get the in your favor!!! If not you'll regretit.

Also, don't drink 1/2gal of Rum the night before, right Doug....

In all, the trip is a blast. I've grown to really like Cape May. South Jersey Marine has been a great host, not the cheapest but I like them.
