Out of Sight

I don't know if you are all Elmore Leonard fans, "Get Shorty" & about 40 other best sellers, but in the film version of his book "Out of Sight" which I watched tonight, they need to show that Jennifer Lopez's dad (Dennis Farina) is a cool, no-nonsense private investigator and all around good guy. So as they pan past his house on a canal in Ft Lauderdale they show his boat at the dock.

I'll give you one guess. Well OK, it could have been a Bahia Mar but we are talking a mass audience so they kept it simple, an FBC.

I keep looking for them in Scarface, the Mariel boatlift, but haven't seen one. Are 31s in any other movies? Must be in "Jaws", wasn't that Montauk?

And one of those big budget TV series about some monsters in the deep a couple of years ago, the monster came up under a 31, they were fishing and having fun, and it ate the boat!

Tennessee is away in a small yard up the coast, for the past nine weeks, I think I'm going nuts.
