calling Black Sheep

Post by JohnCranston »

Mike,

Is Noe going with the Deere or Steyr repower on that bahia mar in his shop? Last time I talked with him, he said that he was going with the Steyrs.

Thanks

Deere?

Post by Capt. Mike Holmes »

I haven't talked to him since I hauled that cabin top off. Last I heard the owner of the Bahia Mar, who is the one who bought all the molds from Cabrerra, was planning on Deere's. Noe had also said they wanted to put Deere's in the express the cabin top came off of, when they figured out what they were going to make it into - center console, Bahia Mar, etc.

I'll try to get by and talk to him this week, I have a couple of pieces of scrap rope he probably wants back.

Rob, sorry I didn't reply yet, I wuz thinkin'. Would love to fish, missed the ROC, but I'm getting ready to haul my boat to install a new transducer, got a trip on the 19th. Also, Saturday is my birthday, wife wants me to stay home.

Let me know how it goes, get some pictures. Anything hi-res digital I can maybe get published somewhere.

Shootout

Hope you do win it. Fishing your boat? I would dearly love to fish with you guys, but I am THIS close to being able to head for bluewater in my boat - no problems, just "remodeling" again. When I'm ready, I'll give you a call.

We did not do. We went sight seeing, around 110 NM for NADA. But one trip closer to a great one, the tide has to turn. I am going Tarpon fishing in the AM, LOTS of them off Galveston over the last week. I will forward the pics let me know if you need more and I will get the guy to send them to you.
