fished with friends today up from conn. Hooked up a Giant at 2;30pm on a live herring 700 plus 4 hour and 30 minute fight and then he was ready to leader to a harpoon shot,,,,,,, to a tail wrap; Unbelievable fish Unbelievable fight
130's 130lb diamond mono with a 15 ft. 180 lb Flurocarbon leader/ .Spro swivel...(.shy gear by Newburyport standards,),,,,,,.wow I am so tired,and so are my 2 friends.,.,But tomorrow I'll be back .,., today was a Huge .$$$$$$$ fish ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,believe me.,.,

Nice going Ric, putting your time in finally paid off. I was looking for you last week (Tue), stopped by the Marina you were out fishing. I'm in Salem, Ma until it gets too cold.
