Cruisair a/c

Post by wgiarratana »

When I shut off the unit there is a clicking noise which has been there since the install, would anyone know what the click is shutting down ?. I’m try to head off an issue the click has turned into a click and vibration noise like something is about to come loose. The unit is working fine except for the new noise that caught my attention. Any input would be appreciated.

Could it be expansion/contraction noise from the copper tubes?

...dirt/dust causing an imbalance in the squirrel cage. Mounts on pump or unit wearing or not secured.

A little vibration can loosen the screws holding the unit or a component down.

I'd try to get a peek at it when shutting down the unit, lots of possibilities.
