A Meet N Greet with SNIPE, aka Jason

Post by Carl »

Jason already beat me to sharing the info, been a busy week to play with photo's till now.

Always great to see a fellow sandbox member, thanks for coming over to introduce yourself Jason. I have to say I wasn't expecting a Bertram meet n greet at a raft-up in the Atlantic Highlands. Hopefully next time I'll get to see your boat...which is looking incredible in the pictures. Man has your son grown since your last posted pics.

If I can get our club to open an invitation to boats, maybe we can get a rendevous going here.

I'm the short guy with closed eyes...it must be a Bertram thing as I still can't seem to take a picture with those peepers open....even in these days of no flash. I'll blame it on the sun...

We need a Jersey Rendevous. There are so many 31s in Jersey.

I agree on a NJ/nyc rendezvous. Not that I have a working boat and it is up in Huntington being worked on but mattituck inlet is about the same trip then Cape May Nj or Newport RI.

Glad you guys got to hook up, I can’t wait for Eastwind to be included. I’ll definitely keep my shirt on though.

We do need a get together. Last one I believe was Bob's gathering out on Shelter Island. I may have to bring the boat to Staten Island if it is there. Heck, be cheaper to run from Barnegat to Staten Island than drive 30 miles and pay those dam tolls.

We are all getting older no telling what the years bring.

But I am with Pete, no shirtless gatherings. LOL

Carl,

I disagree, shirtless is better, never mind the sixpack…
Also it helps even out the “taxi driver arm” effect!!!

Rafted up on the hook at a beach enjoying the boat, water, and sun, the dress code seemed appropriate.
All good-
Luckily we took another picture...

I love the photo shop effort. It feels great that I’ve had the opportunity to be on Sim’s boat post repower, go to Jason’s to see the work in progress and had lunch with Tony many moons ago.

I’ll push to put something informal together when I’m back in the water. I think we’ve got a solid group from the South shore of the island down the NJ coast.

A Manasquan or Atlantic Highlands Rendevous would be nice.

Great eye! I thought the hours spent working on that picture had it looking seamless and undetectable. lol
