They are nice boats. Heavy and with the original engines were slow. Years ago I new a guy who kept his down in Stone Harbor. He used to strip the cabin of as much weight as he could so he could get a few more knots out of her.
Will take just about anything the Ocean can dish out.
Not sure how they run with those Cats.
Can't go wrong with an old 38 as long as she has been well kept.

beautiful boat i took one from Delaware up to northern nj and ran into gale warning 13' waves of cape may NJ . fantastic white water boat with 3126 cats a great boat
