Advice Needed: Cleaning Underneath Engines

Post by moguls2go »

Hey Guys-

Anyone have a good method for cleaning underneath your engines? It's a very awkward angle to get any leverage for scrubbing. We've had a few leaks and I'd love to get things as clean as possible in order to spot new problems more easily as they come up.

Strong soap and a pressure washer with a slanted end is what I have used. They work much better if they are heated.

Brake Cleaner, terry cloth rags, round 1/2” wood dowel, cut it at a comfortable length. Wipe my Cummins with Brake Cleaner when needed. EarleyBird 😎
