I cut my bow rail about 2 feet. One of the best things I have done. No more playing footies with the rail on the way to the bow.
I got the idea from my nabbers 31.

Good idea. Did you replace the full section or actually cut it shorter?

I cut it shorter and bent it with an electrical pipe bender. Harder to bend than I thought.
