Elite marine genset location

Post by titolugo »

Does anyone know how elite marine get around to locate the genset at the center of the boat behind the engines. Do they reduce the size of the fuel tank? I can’t upload a pic that I saw on their Facebook page. The created a very neat hatch for the genset

I would think that your only choice would be reduce the size of the tank, or move the tank back. Moving it back would put it pretty close to the transom and would be pretty close to the stern bilge pump, making things pretty tight back there.

I would also think it would cause the stern to sit really low in the water.
