BUGET TIME FOR BRUCE
Since it is the first of the year and everyone is starting to work on their taxes and thinking about budgeting for 2020. This would be an appropriate time consider making a contribution to the site so Bruce can budget his expenses for the year. I know it must be difficult for Bruce to operate with an unknown income . If every one that is going to contribute would do so NOW it would make his life easier. Think of what he does for us and how this ad free site helps all that look at it on a regular basis. Just some of the money saving ideas you get are worth a contribution. All the best and hope everyone has a wonderful year enjoying the best boat on the water. Also try to plan and make the reunions in your area.
thanks

Salty Sato, thanks for your timely post, which is spot on target. As stated, there are out of pocket costs in hosting a site like this, not to mention the time involved. Let’s show Bruce and a Mike our appreciation and support by helping defray the expenses. Here’s hoping everyone will ave a great 2020 boating season.
Re: BUGET TIME FOR BRUCE
Bruce, when I click on “Mailing Address”at top of screen, it still shows Pat’s Llano address. Some of us old guys still send paper checks.

Re: BUGET TIME FOR BRUCE
Mike, thanks for sharing the website of RMC (Resurrection Muscle Cars), where Bruce shares his time and mechanical talents on non-nautical craft (and the address he uses for mail correspondence). Having had Bruce convert my classic 1973 B-31 from it's original gas engines to diesels, I witnessed first-hand his eye for detail and precision. Island Girl was purchased 10 years later by an experienced yacht broker in Monte Carlo, Monaco, who flew to the US to inspect the boat. He told me he was very impressed with the "yacht-grade" quality of work done by the mechanic/installer. I know the guys at RMC are grateful for his involvement at their shop. Thanks again, Bruce, for the time you volunteer to keep Capt. Patrick's website up and running. Actually I should say "our" website, as both Pat and you point out that it's the participants on the Board who keep it alive.

Thank you for the support everyone.
There is a pay pal address in the donation contact thread.
Sorry Yannis but I don't have an Iban number or setup for international transfers.
Mike,
Funny thing about that car it was owned by an engineer on a 230 foot yacht.

Re: BUGET TIME FOR BRUCE
I thought I would make another post regarding our website and the work Bruce and Mike do for us. Over the last 2 months while being quarantined many of us have enjoyed this website for information, advice, guidance and communication. I do not know the amount of time these individuals put into keeping Bertram 31 operational but for me I am most appreciative. We have a great site that is ad free and not scrutinized by some organizations that place cookies on our computers to tract us. We all have enhancements that we would like to see added to the website but this takes time on someones part and funds. So I guess what I am saying we all need think about reaching into our piggy banks and to contribute a little something to help offset these expenses and so we can keep this great site going with its original premise of providing unbiased helpful assistance to all that share in owing the best boats on the water.

Guys,
A bunch have already responded and things are okay.
Save your donation and take the family out to eat when this insane lock down lifts.
I really appreciate it guys.
