Algaecide/biocide

Post by John Swick »

Hi y'all,
I've got signs of algae growth in the primary filters.
Looking for a recommendation on a good algaecide/biocide to kill it off.
Anyone know of a particular product that has worked remarkably well?
Please advise.
Thanks in advance.

Grotamar 82.

German, and suggested to me by a tanker mechanic. They use it in all their generators.
Ever since I started using it my tank, filters and diesel color are impeccable.

Try biobor, fuel ox, or power stroke. They work pretty well but you will be changing the filters a lot for a while.
