If your trying to get a black box in your post, your test has been successful!


Bob, with Imgur you copy and paste or slide picture over to the Imgur screen, it loads.

Then bring your courser over to the picture, a dialog box pops up that says Copy Link and three Dots to the right.

You can click copy link and past in your post...you will have a blue link that others have to click on to bring up picture.

If you want a picture opened in your post you will need to click the three dots.

2nd choice down is "Get Shared Links", click that


New box opens headed as "Share Options"

To post in our forum choose 3rd down "BB Code (Forums)" by left clicking the green

Paste in the post and you'll have a pic



Slide and Load pick to Imgur
Cursor on pic brings up Copy Link and 3 dots

Pick 3 dots
Pick Shared Link
Pick Green box to right of BB Code(forums)

Paste in forum

Bob- i agree, I had to get away from Photobucket after that transition to paid then back to free with bugs. It would load, it would not, pictures did not look like my screen shots...

Imgur, easier,faster better.

I use Imgur but it has to be on a laptop not an iPad. Dump the photos you want to your posts. Then click on them and to the right will be options. Click large thumbnails and copy on the bottom choice to the right. Paste to the reply box on B31 and check before submitting. It just worked for me on the Bahia mar post below and its nice to have pics on this site and not have to click on a link.

Using Imgur I will often load the pics from my phone to imgur. If I'm in a rush I can attach the links in a post. If I want the actual image inserted into the post I need to do that from a computer, works the same as photobucket using

[img]insert%20link%20here[/img]

Bob and Pete - You can use your iPhone or iPad to post pics. Once you have your pic in Imgur, tap on the picture so it is the only one on the screen. At the bottom of the screen you should have options to Upvote, Downvote, Fave and Share. Place your finger on the picture and hold it until another window pops up. Click on Copy Post Link and then come back to the board. Click on the img button and then paste the link right where the cursor is. Preview and should be good to go. You can add any image sizing as in Cariedl post.
