Recommendations for Cummins mechanic on Long Island

Post by sillverchevy »

Hi,
Fellas, I lost my diesel mechanic 3 years ago, and have been neglecting the upkeep on my 210 hp Cummins 6BT's on my 31. I am located in Port Washington, New York. I know the engines are bulletproof and relatively simple; I'll be honest, I don't have the time or know how of a thorough going over. Can anyone recommend a reputable person or shop that I can start using for a thorough going over, and continue with general maintenance in the future? I'm located in Port washington, the Boat is usually kept at Raybo Marine (Lindenhurst) in the off season when more non mechanical work is performed. I appreciate any and all help.
Best,
Ron

Ask for Mark Friel. Mention my name.
