TILLER ARMS

Post by Craig Mac »

It seems that I have to paint my tiller arms every other year----they keep rusting on me----priced out some bronze (abt $400)---is there a coating that holds up better--epoxy?

Craig

Use a rust convertor and then try Por15. If that does not work for a while then Bronze is the way to go.

You don't need a rust converter with POR 15. If you can get them off, have them blasted and paint at least two coats of POR15. If not, wire brush and paint with it. Follow the instructions for best results.
