Running takeout 454’s available in CT

Last year (read a year ago this past summer!) when we rendezvous’ed on the back of Shelter Island a friend came out on his Yellowfin. He is re-doing a 31 and came to see our creativity and to be inspired, and to sell his wife on the idea. She was sold!

As part of his re-do he is changing the engines for diesels.

He has a pair of 454’s in good shape (according to his yard, and they own the yard) that he is looking to sell. I don’t know the hours and I did ask. But he’s asking $6000 for the pair engines and gears. He claims they are in very good shape and if that turned out not to be the case he would happily buy them back.
