bertram 25 repower options
Hi, Came across a 25 bertram hull, without power basically for free if I want it. Has anyone installed new Mercruiser 3.0 /alpha drive packages in one. I see some go the outboard route as well. Just wondering what would be the best re-power package, I am also contemplating installing a single mercruiser 6.0 bravo 2 drive?

In the case of the 25 an outboard really opens up the boat with the removal of the engine box. IMO really makes it a nice boat with serious cockpit space.

How did uou intend yo use the boat. Outboard and stern drives have thrrrdd pros and cons.
As Peter said outboards open up thge boat but get in thrr way when fishing. Stern drives take up space. Do pick your poison.

I would love to see an inboard model repowered with a single 6 or 4bt Cummins jack-shafted to a Bravo3 or a Konrad drive.
