B25 Tiller Arms

Post by Joseph Fikentscher »

Does anyone know if the tiler arms for the B25 are square or round and the size?

My tie bar corroded through (I should have noticed their condition ) and everything is corroded and needs to be replaced.

Mine is the inboard version with V-drives. What I need are the rudder tiller arms, swivel ends , tie bar etc

Joe

Can you see the top of the rudder post? If the post is square then the arm should be square. Check out Buck Algonquin. They might what you need.

The top of the rudder post is round and goes into the bearing.the rudder arms are under the rudder shelf.

If the rudder posts are round then the tiller arms should be round. Are you going to need to drop the rudders to remove the arms? I would think you will need to at least get the top of them below the shelf to slide the arm off. You will also need to measure the length, looking at the Buck site you have a couple lengths to pick from.
