Any ideas to bring the aluminum windshield frames back to life?

Max, I have to say, that does not look too bad! Mine were structurally sound but were oozing a white powder and aging quickly. I am not really sure there is a solution... I could see a temporary one where any holes are filled and then its all painted, but it will not last.

My solution... well, you already know my solution! LOL!

Aluminum is challenging.. You say «bring back to life»; while there are various temporary fixes of dubious quality, the only way to really bring it back to life is to disassemble, machine polish off the anodized layer and all blemishes and have it re-anodized.

I’ve done it. It is a monster job (I’m not about to do that polishing again soon!), but can turn out really nice and give you pretty alu for the next twenty years if you do a thorough job.
