Flying Fish Carburetors??

Post by scot »

Has anyone used these guys? Putting the 454 back together and the Q-jet needs rebuild, they advertise $258.00 for a complete MC Q-Jet rebuilt with 1 year warrant. Their site says they are in Largo, FLA.

Open to suggestions for a replacement / rebuilt Q-jet. I would run another Edlebrock, but the manifold is spread bore and I don't care for adapters. Replacing the Q-jet looks like the simplest thing to do.

Thanks in advance

I don't know about those guys, but I have used Carbs Unlimited with good success. Of course I was getting the Carter AFB's rebuilt. They do test run every carb before sending them out though.
