Half hull Models

Post by Fishin Tom »

Finally we just pulled the first two parts from the mold for the 31 Bertram model half mold

Some repairs needed and a picture will follow with pricing. Funding to go to the site for survival.

Anyone interested let me know

Steve, I could be wrong, but I’m thinking they are one and the same and that it needed repair due to degradation. I believe Capt. Tom offered to repair/restore it for the home team.

The mold is the same one previously used. We pulled a couple of parts just to see how much attention is needed in the upgrade.

We're going to repair the original mold and pull a few more pieces and then we will probably make a new mold from a good reproduction.

We are planning to mount them on a Teak board with room to add your own Hull # and or Boat name. Of course we all know enough $$ sunk into a project is comes out great.

Have a good weekend fellow Bertram 31 followers

Tom-
I am interested in seeing the pictures and a model.
If these come out anything like your other work I've seen here I'm sure they will be perfect.
Best,

I would be interested in one. Please share the dimensions, cost and when you would expect to be ready to make/ship more.

Thanks,
