What is a good paint to paint the exterior of a 31 and a good way to paint it or What would be a good price to have it paint.

Bill,
Imron would be the best bet and easiest to maintain and touch up over time.

Spray is always the best, but a real good roll and tip guy can do well also.

Prices range as far a part as NY and LA.

Condition of the current gel coat and glass has alot to do with it.

The more fairing that has to be done, the more labor involved, the higher the cost.

Good prep is essential to a long lasting paint job.

There is a paint shop that operates out of Jackson Marine in Ft Lauderdale that does good work and is reasonable.

Bruce

Had a long talk with my good friend Capt. Pat this morning. He also said that Imron is the way to go.
