I got this from Patrick a few years back. Is this the preferred method for joining the deck sections? If so, how wide does the half lap joint and deck joist horizontal section in this image need to be ?
Also, I went with 3/4" Bluewater 26 Coosa instead of Divinycell. The section of the deck that takes an upward screw will require me to put a cabosil/resin plug in to hold the screw. Is that how the rest of you who used synthetic core materials attached the deck sections?
