Exhaust

Post by El Dorado »

Has anyone successfully been able to route their twin riser NA 3208 exhaust to the outside? I'm just starting to learn a little about back pressure and the importance of keeping the exhaust simple, but I'd really like to get fish boxes under the deck.

Do a search on the memebers list for Fred Haas. He has 3208s in his 31 but I believe they are original so not sure if he has made any changes. You can send him a PM. He jumps on here from time to time, but not very often.

NOt too many 31's out there with the 3208s. They make for a great ride, keeps the boat low in the water so you go through the waves not over them.

Thanks Tony, I'll reach out for him. Those big heavy engines are great for the ride, but they are also the reason there's no space under the boxes.
