Happy Labor Day. My B25 project continues to move along, albeit slow. But, I'm still having fun. My title is somewhat misleading, but I wanted to link it to my prior post with a similar title.
I received some great responses on removing my steering wheel and then I powder coated it and I am ready to re-install.
I need to find or perhaps get someone to make the small plastic gear which fit all the way through a hole, near the center of the steering wheel. The gears of this plastic part engage another small gear below and above the face of the steering wheel hub. The part is a plastic or nylon cylinder, about 1 7/8" long and 3/4" diameter, with a 13 cog gear molded on each end.
Does anyone know what this is, what it does and more importantly where I can find one, since I sheered off 3 gear tabs, during my early efforts to remove the wheel, without your good advice.
Thanks in advance,
Ron

A good 3D printer should be able to make one easily.

Cosco is now selling one for 800. It looked like it would do the trick.
