Angel 111 four months later
It has been almost four months since we splashed Angel 111 b26.
I have put just under 100 hrs on and only 2 failures , developed a coolant leak between the riser resovoir and the exhaust manifold
heli coils in the manifold failed . I drilled and taped the exhaust manifold and installed thread inserts worked like a charm.
Wednesday port engine starter failed new starter installed another minor set back.
Only a few upgrades VHF, sterio and a sotty 1106 downrigger, We have landed 18 salmon but all just under size a lot of fun though.
We have been out in 25 knot winds going from the north arm of Fraser river to Gibsons the boat is awsome in 5 ft seas the b26 is by far the smoothest ride I have ever had in a 26 foot boat.
All in all I don't think we could have found a better boat for our needs all the kids and grand kids just love the boat.
I now totally understand the Bertram Hotel California thing and why there is such a bertram following.
Hope everyone enjoys and has a safe last half of the season.

A pic of your Bertram would be appreciated. Bertrams and smiling kids go well together

Nice
The 26 is a rare one. Stick with her, probably one of the biggest 26's ever made.
