Rolling and Tipping Hull with Alexseal
Hi Guys...I have brushed many things on my boats over the years, but mostly very forgiving areas like non skid decking, etc...The hull on my 1980 FBC is in excellent shape but the paint has faded quite a bit...I think it is Awlgrip as it won't buff out at all....Contemplating rolling an tipping the hull myself and would love to get a few tips from the paint pros on this site...Any help would be appreciated...Thanks, John

The way I have seen Alexseal applied was as follows: the hull (FRP) was slightly roughed up, the Alexseal was sprayed on with no regard to smoothness, after drying the Alexseal was smoothed out by wet sanding and then polished & waxed...
