That hatch was dripping much of the shower water under the sole. I was tired to have to deal with that issue. We put a rim around the hatch periphery and a new cover. We also made it a bit smaller so that if I ever have to change the head with one that occupies more floor space, there would be adequate for that.

This gel coat color apparently readily exists somewhere; he buys it and without any chromatic alteration he applies it.
Oh, there is some little difference, only it's not seen in the pictures.
For a 43 yo boat, the least I'm concerned with is if the gel coat's color matches the rest of the boat. Especially in the bathroom !
