perfect day fishing offshore wreck
75 mile round trip to my favorite wreck produce limit for all on board. a beautiful fall day and my grandchildren had a day off for election day so grandpa took them fishing on the Phoenix. my son drop anchor 400 feet from boat and we were down wind with transom just beyond hull edge of 500" wreck. i just watched non stop action for sea bass (one of the best tasting fish in northeast) 36 bass is the limit for the number of people on board so the boys threw back any bass that was within 2" of minimum size we left with 36 huge sea bass and some togs but most of all two very happy children whom will inherit "Phoenix" some day. both can steer boat and follow course on raymarine display.

Nothing better than spending a day out on the water with the family and building memories.
Those kids will remember this for the rest of their lives.
