Boat lift

Post by Brewster Minton »

The Cormorant Princess is going to live in Naples. The boat lift has been installed. Does anyone know where the supports should be placed?

Brew, My dad had a 27 Phoenix on a lift in Bradenton Fl, the bunks ran fore n aft made of looked like 4x10 covered with a black pad or carpet of some type. Worked slick just had to mark the gunnels so you knew how far to slide it on the bunk to clear the running gear. Hope all is well with your new digs in the sunny south. Those jet bars are all re rigged and ready to kill some tuna. BH

Russ Pagels has a 31 on the lift behind his home. I;m sure that he will share the measurements. I am thinking about selling my slip at Old town Yacht Club and moving the Bert to an 18,000 lift Buy high, sell low.Whatever.
Happy to be here. Happy to be anywhere.

Couldn't you just rent it out and/or wait for the market to go up again?!...

Brew,

Can't help you on the bunks. Sorry. But I am excited to hear of your move, and hope all is well. Are you trucking her or driving her on her own bottom? Always wanted to make that trip.

Have a ball and enjoy the palm tree's while there!

Hey Brew, Naples huh?.. That's pretty close.
We need to hit the Content Keys again.
I'm finally done with my skiff, bringing it to get the e tec initialized this week.

Let's give em hell.
Btw, Kevin has his 28 on a lift. If I remember correctly the bunks are positioned so the hull rests on them on the between the first and second pair of strakes... But I'm not sure. There are pics here somewhere.
