Shotgun Rigger Mount Dimensions?

Post by MikeD@Lightningshack »

Does anyone know the bore diameter of a typical shotgun rigger mount from rupp or lee.

I am designing a new hardtop, and will have the fabricator make a custom shotgun rigger mount. I'd imagine that most marine fab shops will know this information, but right now I am just trying to get my drawings correct.

I am having no luck tyring to nail this dimension down anywhere else on the internet.

Is it a standard tube size? and if so, which .... 1", 1-1/4" 1-1/2"?. The boat is a 31'

thanks again,
Mike

Try these folks http://www.ruppmarine.com/standardtopguns.htm with the standard top guns you have a choice of 1.5 or 1.25 tubing.
After all if its not a Rupp Rigger why bother.

Gotta say that having family in the biz.......

Mike,
I talked with the guys from Lee's at the Palm Beach Boat Show, they said that the center rigger is standard 1-1/4" outside pipe aluminum tube.
