Source for headliner material & cabin door lock

Post by Whaler1777 »

Hi guys... Trying to find the mfgr info for the cabin door lock on my 35 kind of looks like this:

Also trying to figure out who made the original headliner for the 28's and 35's... It appears to be vinyl that's just stapled on, would like to keep it as close to original as possible...
Any leads?

I needed a lock that looked like that on my Bertram33 and I got it from High Tide Marine.

I know on the 31 they were Perko locks. If you want to call them locks.

John, my dad needed to replace his door lock similar to yours, he sourced it from American Marine in Miami. BH

Whaler..

Re: Headliner material. I don't know anything about headliner that was used on B31s, but if you can't locate exactly what you want I can refer you to this company that makes headliner material in general. I bought a roll of their foam backed stuff for lining the inside of my forepeak and bunk cabin about two years ago from a guy who ordered it special and then never used it. I called them and got some info on installation a few weeks ago. I don't have any idea of cost, as I bought it cheap (at least I think I did). As I said if you strike out on getting a perfect match they might be a good alternate source.
