Stupidity at sea once again

Post by Bruce »

Getting on a sail boat and sailing around the world is not some Kalifornia tree huggers dream. Its a serious adventure that only the experienced in sailing should ever attempt and certainly not with two very young children.

You better prepare for the absolute worse case scenario and have the ability and parts to repair anything that breaks on the boat.

Just what were these two moronic parents thinking?

But alas the tax payers will bail out one's stupidity with a rescue and frankly the boat owner should be responsible for those costs.

Darwin gets cheated again.

Off course the media just think this is wonderful. No mention of risk or responsibility.

Of course the parents are defending their decision to go because when your dead from the neck up, the world is filled with pink bunny rabbits, purple unicorns, blue mermaids and we all sit around and sing Michael row your boat ashore and kumbaya, hold hands and drop copious amounts of yellow sunshine because the "Rain Man" is just not a movie, its a life style.

Definite patterns on the wall.....................

Yellow sunshine: a certain type of strong LSD or acid...

And the hint in Bruce's post is "drop copious amounts of yellow sunshine"... Drop as in "dropping acid"...

And just who did they think would have come out and rescued them if the phone had worked?

Besides the boat was crippled in a storm and mr. fix it didn't have a clue.

Just makes the point of dumber than a box of rocks even more true.
