2019 Hurricane season

I don't pay too much attention to the season talking head predictors and hype doctors, but time to take stock in supplies and review plans incase a storm approaches.

People panic when they don't prep.
Remember one year at the property that Viking yachts now sits on, we had packed the yard tight with boats, people were lined up last minute at the haul out. Told them too late, they waited and no room left. Travel lift was pulled back from the haul out and parked. Yard tightened down and secured everyone left to go home and ride out the storm.
We got a call short time later some guy was on the travel lift trying to move it over the haul out slip and pickup his boat.

Don't forget to review insurance documents and coverage. Inflation costs and deductables can be a cold shower after an event.
