Yep, we right in the Bullseye. Houma, la..
All calm now, outer bands will start hitting us in the morning. Some extra lines on the boat and the liquor cabinet is strapped down.
Reports of Jim Cantore prowling the neighborhood.
Let’s see what it looks like on Monday at noon.

Mike

How did you guys make out on Long Island? We got swamped here in NJ. 7 to 10 inches of rain depending on where you are.

I’m all good. We got power back on Sunday…..about 50% of the Parishes power is restored. It still looks like a war zone down here. I’m in Houma, La and we took a direct hit. I keep my B28 at my camp 20 miles south of here and had minor damage, but it destroyed about 6-8 camps in our subdivision. My 31 is on a trailer 10 miles to the north…..no damage to her, but just missed getting hit by 3or 4 trees…..so she still patiently waits her repower with Diesels. At my house in town, my neighbors 150’ oak fell on my fence, aluminum canopy and the back of my motorhome. Minor damage to Motorhome, and the Styer diesels, for the 31, sitting under the canopy weren’t damaged either…. Lots of work ahead, but we’re in pretty good shape on the bayou.
