Hi All,

coming back from checking out the motors today I drove through Hampton Beach, NH and there were a bunch of people on the side of the road with binoculars and cameras so I pulled over to check them out. The folks pointed out a Snowy Owl on a dune and I went back to the car and got my camera.

Thats pretty cool. I have never come across one here in NJ. I think several years ago there was one on Island Beach State Park. But I did not get to see it.

Our house where we keep the boat, overlooks Federal Wetlands that is really an ideal spot for them as a portion of it is wooded. We see Bald Eagles, Osprey nesting nearby and various see birds but no Snowy Owls yet. Have heard Owls out there at night in the summer but they seem to remain hidden.

I am sure there probably Snowy Owls around in the winter.
