That drawing is a waste of time if you have some common sense ...which just about everyone on here has... But I guess Bertram had to publicize this legally...block the bottom in 2 spots and Jack stand the rest.

Thanks Capt, as always a great advice with multiple examples....We did get them on a steal and would have liked to have kept that way with doing all the work ourselves ( as always) but anodizing might be the best solution for near perfect results.......Thanks as always.

Bingo! That why I came here first.....I picked up the boat 2 days ago and haven't done a full research, but now things are alittle more clear -i.e. measuring 23 ft, couldnt find any Albe close to that year, and the hull # apl. Still a beautiful boat and definitely worth the time.

lets see two hundred and fifty more horsepower, just about half the fuel economy and severe chine walking at speeds over 30 because installing the "c" shape pockets destroyed the three point stance of the 24degree deadrise and strake bottom. let alone about $200,000 more to build for two knots more...

Yes there in a 31. The boat tops out about 28kts. 10-4 on the compressor brain, had that issue.

Boating in general is expensive(guess you could stay in the house and save all kind of money).
Bruce....The roots compressor stays on for about 1000rpms, just to get out of the hole then shuts off, but it feels like a rocket ship. when you say high hours can you be more specific for that motor?
