Thanks Capt, as always a great advice with multiple examples....We did get them on a steal and would have liked to have kept that way with doing all the work ourselves ( as always) but anodizing might be the best solution for near perfect results.......Thanks as always.

This topic is crazy awesome........I'v learned more about engine details in this post then a half ass rebuild we did last summer on a volvo kamd42 which justed dropped a valve a week ago....Didnt think about replacing them cause the "looked" fine. Love this web site

Yes there in a 31. The boat tops out about 28kts. 10-4 on the compressor brain, had that issue.

Boating in general is expensive(guess you could stay in the house and save all kind of money).
Bruce....The roots compressor stays on for about 1000rpms, just to get out of the hole then shuts off, but it feels like a rocket ship. when you say high hours can you be more specific for that motor?

Anybody have these motors? or had?......Starting to grow comfortable with the performance especially when the superchargers kick in. Swapping info would be helpful (do have the detailed manuals)
