Damn, here on Cape Cod you are looking at $250-$300/ft for April-October and no that does not include electric. Then add winter storage on top of that.

Wondering if any of you NY guys know this 35 Bertram. I have been trying to get info from both the broker and I assume the owner and both have not provided much. Broker sent me info on Cat 3208s and boat has 3116's. She looks like she has not been kept up but if the bones are good might be a good pr...

Couple of Bertram 35 questions
I figured I could get the answer to my questions here as everyone is so helpful. We are still trying to narrow down if we will buy a 37 Bert or save some money and get a 35. A 35 with Cat 300hp 3208's what are the real world numbers, cruise and fuel burn we could expect to see on a well cared for bo...

B38 might be a good deal?
Just stumbled across this and figured I would post it as there was some conversation on a thread I started on 37 Bertram's about going with a repowered 38 Bertram instead.

37 Bertram
Hey guys. Quick question thinking of a 37 Bertram and see them with different power options. Which would be the preferred power for the boat, Detroits 450 hp or Cat 3208 375hp? Would like the boat to cruise 20-22knots loaded for 100 mile one way NE Canyon run and anything over would be a bonus. I ha...

Wondering if anyone knows this boat and has anyone dealt with National Liquidators before? Just wondering if it is worth flying in to look at it.

yanmar 230 hours
Looking at another boat with Yanmar 230s and 2300hrs. Engine maint is up to date and the engines spin up to 3400 at WOT. What does Yanmar say the life expediency (hours) for yanmar 230s? Is 4-5000 hrs to much to expect for these engines?

Re: Help needed identifing HP on these Yanmars
The seller bought the boat from a friend who did the repower himself. The current owner claims to know nothing about the mismatched motors. I think his "friend" who repowered the boat himself either screwed him or the current owner isn't being truthful with us. Needless to say we walked away from th...

Help needed identifing HP on these Yanmars
I am looking at buying a boat and one of the Yanmars is a 4LHA-STP continuous power is kW 140/3100 RPM and 177/3300 rpm. This engine is a Yanmar 230-240 or correct? The second motor in the boat is a 4LHA-DTE continuous power kW 116/3100 RPM and kW 140/3300 RPM. Is this engine a Yanmar 190hp? Just tr...

Re: B28 Repower Crusader 6.0 help
Years ago I repowered my old B28 with Marinepower 5.7 325hp MPIs and the boat ran real nice. I had posted about it on the old board. I will see if I can find the numbers I was seeing after the repower.
