survey only says 17 inch bronze props. boat has sat for awhile. I spent 2 hours underwater scraping, i'd still consider the bottom "dirty", but i'm turning up 3200-3300 rpm....19-21 knots

What might the gear ration on my BW Velvet Drives connected to Crusader 454's be?

I googled previous posts and my best guess is 1.5:1.

I can't find a plate and don't know where the markings might be under all the paint!

you guys are good! thanks. someone mentioned the tower......if I was starting from scratch I wouldn't build buy a tower........but going with the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" strategy I was thinking i'd just leave it. Not sure I could cut the top off and make it look appealing. Does anyone thin...
