Re: B31 Kill box and Tackle Station
Those are nice boxes. I was looking for a multi function box. I was using two 120 qt coolers back to back. One with gear and bait and the other for a kill box. We moved fish from the kill box to a fish bag. This new kill box will allow us to keep fish in the box, we have a bait tray built in. A tac...

Joe I watched a glass guy re-glass 3/4 of one side of a boat. I took a core out of the side of the boat, took it to the Fiberglass Supply house. They used the computer matching system to match the gel. He closed up the hole and proceeded to gel the section of the boat that the owner wanted repaired....

If I understand this correctly, it seems that Progressive only picked up the extra liability on the Sailboat, acting in this case a re-insurer.
Is the Bertram fully insured with Progressive or does USAA still maintain a policy for it?

Re: life rafts - NE what should I consider?
Given the range of our boats, and if you can get the EPIRB fired off, you should be rescued in a matter of hours and probably no longer than 24 hours so you could get away with a Coastal model. I would go with a valise. I have heard of issues of the life raft deploying automatically when the boat go...

I bet the plywood block rotted out and they jury rigged something to act like a backing plate which really wasn't right.

I don't think the boat hull was built in two halves. I believe there is thread here on it. It was my understanding that the mold was two halves that were clamped together then the boat was laid up. The two halves separated and the the hull removed in one piece. But then again, I might be mistaken. I...
