That's the GE Silpruf is the same stuff we used when we took the curved window out rebed them. It lasted about 5 years before the curved windows started to leak again. Maybe your through bolts will do a better job than the T bolts, we put back in.

Try contacting Ronco. They will custom make a plastic tank. They do a nice job. Did mine, exactly to the dimensions I gave them. I put it outboard of the starbord engine. Not big enough though. So I am trying to figure out a better spot.

Ours came through new with the Groco glass strainers and because of the eel grass we put the external strainers on also. Over Kill, may not be, actually I found some eel grass in the glass strainer one time. It some how snuck past the external strainer.

You can get the recons without having diesels. I am swapping out my gas engines for the 270 recons. I believe the deal is, it just has to a repower replacing an exisiting engine. Can not be used in a new truck, or boat. At least that's what Cummins told me.
