Appreciate all the information. I am going to look around and probably give Charlies place a call and see what they have to say. Never really was a fan of clip ons but now that the eyes are geting older its harder and harder to get the good ones in my prescription.

Not sure if they ship overseas but you can also use 1/2 thick fiberglass sheet that you can order from Mcmastercarr. That's what we used.

I know on 75FBC, once had all the bottom paint stripped off the strut, they had Bertram stamped on them. It was pretty clear. I don't know if the older models were marked that way.
