That is pretty cool. I have a length of 3/4 left from my bulkhead job, I might see if that will bend as well as the 1/2 inch. Have nothing to loose.

By the way, whose clamps are you using, I want to buy stock in that company. LOL

Capt pat nice. I can understand how you get the shape for the base, but how did you get the bend in top part. Looks like its at least 3/4 Coosa and I would not think that would bend too easily.

Is the piece behind the deck and the upright all Coosa or did you use other material. If its Coosa it looks like it takes to a router quite nicely.

Don't worry the Mean Team will let you stay on the board. They will just put you in the same ranking as Timmy.

Bertram or Hatteras, doesn't matter, the older boats were built like tanks and should serve you well and both deserve their due respect.

Have a safe trip.

They really do not cool very well and on a hot day I don't think it will do the job. So before you drill any holes, stick the vent out the window and give it a try. If it works then figure out a good venting system.

Remember, any holes also let in cold are in the cooler seasons.

Based on your comments and if DMV doesn't know the answer, then I guess ignorance is bliss. I will just change the registration to diesel and let er rip.

What is the worst they can do, impound a boat that has hull numbers that matches the registration and title. I doubt it.

I went down to the DMV up here in North Jersey yesterday to ask them what I needed to provide them in order to change the boat registration from Gas to Diesel. If not its tough. I try and keep one loose wire in there so I can pull a new wire through.
