Actually I think old Billy Joel was saying:

I think she dumped him for the other guy that lived off her money for a while.

Never saw that article either, and I know that this will not sit well with the faithfull but skip the Bertram article and re-live your youth and click on the tab in the upper right hand corner. Pick a year. I picked 1980. Heck Christie Brinkley looked damn good didn't she?

For my Morse single controls, running to 270 Cummins, we ran 16', 18', 20 and 21' cables. The longer cables run down the port side and the shorter ones down the starboard since the controls are on that side.

Hope that helps.

I wonder how they shimed those pods to make up for the angle of the hull. On new boats you can design the hull so it all works. That is a lot of shimming on re-fit.

The performance numbers look really good.

If Vics doesn't work try looking at Cruz Pro. You might need to use a piece of Starboard to help fill the whole but they offer a sea temp guage on a stand alone basis.

Major At the time the 30 was probably one of Bertrams biggest mistakes. While sales of the 31 were probably not as good as before that period, they were still selling. They came up with the 30 to appeal to the ladies and the families. It never sold well and was discontinued. Not sure how the ride is.
