Actually I think old Billy Joel was saying:
What you don't want me anymore.
I think she dumped him for the other guy that lived off her money for a while.

Not sure if this helps you, but I went digging through my archives and found an issue of the Old Bertram Owners club Newsletter from 1995. There was a 1966 31 FBC in there with the 150 BMW's in it. It was repowered at about the same time as the one you are looking at. Could it be the same boat? From...

If Vics doesn't work try looking at Cruz Pro. You might need to use a piece of Starboard to help fill the whole but they offer a sea temp guage on a stand alone basis.

John I New Manny. My dad and I were over his house once and we paired up once to run offshore but it got too rough and we both had to turn back. The Four Aces was the name on the boat. He lived in High Bar Harbor. He used to put a 50 gallon bladder on the bow when he went off shore. Our boat is a 75...

JP I know the marina I am in for the winter would not let anyone in the yard with a car for the first couple of weeks of march due to the soft ground. You could see where some of the boats had settled in spots that we all had thought were real solid. I have been in the same spot for the winter for t...

Pull both pumps. If the engines are Mercs then I know the pump on the Port engine is easy to get at, the starboard you will need to hang down over the heat exchnager to get it off. Pulling them off makes it easier in my opinion ot change the impellers. Probabaly a good idea to do that no matter what...

Major At the time the 30 was probably one of Bertrams biggest mistakes. While sales of the 31 were probably not as good as before that period, they were still selling. They came up with the 30 to appeal to the ladies and the families. It never sold well and was discontinued. Not sure how the ride is.

When I had the 454's in mine at 3000 I was pushing around 19 knots. I am running light also, no tower and not loaded to the gills, only full fuel. So John does pretty good at over 20 knots. Our burn rate was around 25 gallons an hour. An trip to the tip of the Hudson from Barnegat Inlet, leave early...

CruzPro bilge Pump sensors
Has anyone used or know anything about the CruzPro bilge pump sensors and alarms?
Was looking at them online and they look like they might be a better alternative than using the rule switches. Plus they have a built in high water alarm as well as a stand alone alarm.

Tred has not owned that boat for several years. He sold it right after he moved to Colorado. I have never met Tred but I know several people who have. One even kept his boat near Tred's. They all say the same thing about him. The only guy on the dock who was willing to help them in anyway. Tell them...
