I have been running with a 72 qt Igloo cooler on each engine box for years. One on Port side, gives people a back rest with a pad. Fish box against transom, inside came from Davis boat works years ago rapped with foam and glassed it. I like it because I can remove it when want space. I keep food and...

Re: VHF Antenna mount location
As long as your hardtop has backing to support the antenna base your good. When I built mine hardtop didn't think about it and was cautioned about there was just a couple layers of glass top and bottom of foam and mounting to it. I was told they would of put blocking in before they glasses for mount...

Well I have decided change my 30+ year old antenna's. Boat has a 8' on a 4' extension VHF and what I think was a 16'+ old SSB antenna. Oregon Inlet is my home right now I saw no way. Run the ditch then either run the sound to Adams Creek if weather is good. Bad stay in ditch. Sounds like a good combo to me. That was a dream of mine to do a B38 wide body with 6C or now Q series engines. I figured it was good size boat and speed I would of thought a little better upper 20's cruise. Just a dream. Stick with my B31 for awhile longer.

The biggest problem I have had with the sound down is the edge pulling back even with the tape. On a new fire engine the manufacturer used seam sealant on all the edges to seal the edge and hold edge secure. Once I get my washboards done. Next list of projects.

I know that it's a pulse generator but that's it. Had to get new gears (little plastic pice like on old speedometers.
I'll look to see with one but I ordered.
