I started out with 500's on my 6BTA's, but had a dirty tank problem. When I sucked it out and cleaned it, went back with 900's, much btter. The larger filter capacity gives you a lot more leeway.. Use the Algae-x units, they help, and i also run big electric "boost" pumps in front of the Racors. Put...

I think it showed I need like a 22 x 56 prop, or something ridiculous like that. Vic also got a crazy number. He went backwards, also, giving it his actual props, hp, and speed, told him he had a50 foot boat or somethign like that. It's garbage, as are a lot of the other prop programs.

Did everyone see the coverage of the "shark attack" in Florida on TV? Some kayakers hooked one, drug it up on the beach, and the dumbass was trying to take the hook out when it bit him. Randal, with the Mastry system, there are two transmissions running off one engine. Like Vic said, you can't vary rpm from one side to the other, BUT, you can have one in neutral, or one in forward, the other in reverse. This at least allows some of the advantages of a twin engine boat, for docking ...

You proabbly are seeing some algae, switching from gas to diesel will do that. Biocides will kill it, but it will remain in your tank, eventually end up in the filter. You might want to look at the Hurley lights. They mount two 75 watt Halogens on each trim tab, - no need to cut holes under the waterline, doesn't matter if your bilge is dirty. Also, being on the tabs, they are adjustable as to angle, if only a little bit. Price is about $875 a set (4 lights).
