The panels are actually cut from a single plank of teak.. cut in half lengthwise, resawed and bookmatched. They are butt glued along with biscuits for alignment and extra strength....

I am with you! What I plan to do is find hopefully several guys with LED interior lights and see what they used and if they put out enough light.. and buy what I want based of their performance. I really can't see any other way.

If it curls just let it dry and when you are ready to apply it just flatten it by hand and tape it temporarily in place.

I never tried keeping it flat with pins, but that should do just fine.
