Back in the 50s when I was a kid a local farmer had one.. he plowed, cut hay, pulled a baler, and did all the things a tractor was used for with it. Even at that age I was impressed with it. It might have been the predecessor of today's Unimog.

Sad to see, but money problems can destroy almost any business. The 62' hull delamination failures (I know of only two.. were there more?) would give any prospective buyer the willies.. Captain... I read somewhere that "regular" AwlGrip lays down with the pigment migrating to the bottom and a sort of clear coat migrates to the top, so when it dries it is actually like two coats.. hence it is difficult to touch up. AwlCraft 2000 is more like a regular paint with everything dispersed...

At about 18:00 hrs we had the most severe winds, probably 45 knots with gusts to 60, and alternating medium and heavy rainfall.. now (about 22:00 hrs) it is about 25 knots and light rain. When I put an instrument box above the flybridge I used PVC pipe, primed and painted, between the flybridge console top and the underside of the box. Cheap, can be glued using epoxy or PVC pipe cement, lightweight, easy to find, and corrosion and rot resistant.

My SIL had one instance in which he landed on a carrier with only one engine (all Navy planes have two).. turned out that the engines were OK, but he shut one down because an instrument sensor was faulty.
